Test of Time...

So the Lord has been calling me to this renewed place of worship.  Any time he calls me to a place of worship I find myself weepy.  When he does this, he almost always uses a very specific song or artist.  This time around it has been through the worship of Eoghan Heaslip.  Now I know that some of his music is "older" and we, as western minded" people are often in search of the newest thing and many of us already know of Eoghan Heaship and know the music but I am sharing.  Part of it is I want to share what the Lord is doing in my life. 

When I was a younger all the way through my adulthood I loved to go to this amusement park called Kings Island in Mason, OH. It is actually the park that was featured in an episode of The Brady Bunch.  There is a roller coaster there called The Beast.  It is an award winning ride.  At one time it was the fastest wooden roller coast in the world.  I have ridden The Beast more times than I can count.  There have been times I got on it and rode it back to back 3 or 4 straight times.  I still to this day, after the ride is almost 40 years old, make it a priority to ride.  It is always a place in the park I go back to.  We must always be in a place where the Lord can take us to a place.  Even if it's to a place where we have been before...many times. 

The other reason I am sharing is to ask you to join me in this time of renewed place of worship.  He is so good.  He is worthy of all of our praise.  He is worthy of our worship.  The line in this particular song that is getting me is "and stands the test of time".  The song is called All That Matters.  He really is all that matters.  He is the only thing that stands the test of time.  I would ask all of us to, even if it's just one song, spend time in worship today and every day.  Come into this renewed place.  Let Jesus ignite your heart for worship again and again and again and again...
