Chris and Sheila are high school sweethearts that have been married since 1992 and have four children; Jacob, Isaiah (wife Britney), Michal, and Thomas. They have served in a variety of ministries which have included Children's and Youth Ministry, Training and Equipping Ministry, Family and Marriage Ministry, Worship and Intercession, Counseling and Discipleship, Pastoral Leadership, and Church Planting.
In 2006, Chris and Sheila reconnected with missionary friends they hadn't seen in many years. Through conversation, the missionaries presented an opportunity for overseas ministry through a short-term mission. In a few short months, Chris and Sheila were headed to the Middle East. That short-term mission experience opened their eyes to the spiritual needs around the world and they returned excited to share their mission experience with others. Two years later, they returned again to the Middle East with a short-term mission team and have since traveled around the world.
Chris and Sheila became full-time missionaries in 2011 and currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida serving at Go To Nations' World Headquarters. Chris serves as the Vice President of Discover Missions and Sheila as the Vice President of Communications. They are communicating the mission and vision of Go To Nations, recruiting new missionaries, and mobilizing the Church to become more active in the Great Commission using a variety of short-term mission programs. Chris currently oversees a Discover Missions team of 25+ individuals who he is mentoring and equipping to spread the gospel near and far.
Their three eldest children are serving the Lord and pursuing a life of church leadership and global mission service.
Jacob serves as the Media Coordinator at his church, Iglesia Ciudad / City Church Jax. He feels his calling is to build wealth so that he can send more and more missionaries to the nations.
Isaiah and Britney and their growing family are serving as full-time missionaries from Go To Nations World Headquarters in Discover Missions, engaging the body of Christ in the Great Commission through short-term missions and Mission+30 encounters.
Michal is a manager at Chick-fil-A and is pursuing her missionary training to serve from Go To Nations World Headquarters in Discover Missions working with our Forerunner program that is designed to disciple and mentor youth in the area of missions.
Thomas remains disconnected from the family.
