WHO WE ARE

We serve as international missionary leaders at Go To Nations World Headquarters located in Jacksonville, Florida. Our greatest desire is to see the body of Christ fully engaged in the work of God’s kingdom. We read Jesus’ final commission to His followers in Matthew 28:18-20 to go to the nations and make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them to follow His commands. In Matthew 9:37-38, He instructs us to pray for laborers that would go to reap that harvest.

Our role is to COMMUNICATE that mission, to RECRUIT laborers to bring in the last of the unreached, and to SEND missionaries out into the nations to advance His kingdom in the earth.

Will you partner with us financially and prayerfully as we endeavor to recruit and mobilize 1,000 GenZ missionaries by 2030?

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
— Matthew 9:37-38

GLOBAL OVERVIEW OF OUR MINISTRY

As missional leaders, we oversee the following areas of ministry at Go To Nations.

Chris serves as Go To Nations Recruiting Director speaking at conferences, universities, and churches to share the Great Commission Call and inviting others to join the mission of reaching the nations for Christ. Chris spends a great deal of his time in ministry empowering and encouraging others to overcome their fears to step into the unique calling that God has placed on their lives. Through his encouragement, mentorship, and training, Go To Nations is expanding and workers for the harvest are being sent out all over the world.

One of the best ways to experience God’s heart for the nations first-hand is through a short-term mission experience. Short-term missions changes your worldview and broadens your understanding of the Kingdom and the depth of the Father’s love for humanity. Our missions opportunities range from 7-14 days and are for anyone willing to serve and make a lasting impact in people's lives. Mission opportunities are available in a variety of nations where Go To Nations has an established, long-term discipleship work. Opportunities may include children’s ministry, community outreaches, orphan care, discipleship programs, farming and aquaponics, Biblical training, feeding programs, and much more.

After a short-term mission experience, many youth want to know what they can do next. They are too young to become a full-time missionary, but they often feel compelled to be more involved in the Great Commission. God has ignited a passion within them, but they don’t know how to further engage. Forerunner was birthed as a discipleship program to answer this, “What now?” question. Forerunner engages the next generation through mentoring, mission opportunities, mission conferences, and personal leadership development to educate and equip them to serve God wholeheartedly in whatever capacity the Lord leads them.

For those who want to continue to explore missions life beyond a short-term mission experience where you can settle in, work with a project, and focus on seeking the Lord for your personal missions call, then a Mission+30 is right for you. Mission+30 provides you the opportunity to live and serve alongside a veteran missionary in a cross-cultural community for 30 days. This is a select time to seek the Lord and grow spiritually in your faith. A Mission+30 is designed for you to gain a greater understanding of what cross-cultural missions work looks like on a day-to-day basis and available for singles, couples, and families. Opportunities are offered in a variety of locations around the world.

The physical needs of the world seem endless. By meeting some of the immediate and pressing needs of a people or community, an opportunity presents itself to share the gospel in addition to sharing tangible expressions of God’s mercy and love. That is why we offer medical missions to strategically and effectively open up opportunities for ministry and evangelization. Medical Missions seeks to mobilize medical professionals to use their skills to assist with meeting the physical needs of a people group while we also recruit individuals that can pray and minister to emotional and spiritual needs as well. Every mission is designed to allow God to move in miraculous ways.

Communicating the mission is a vital part of our ministry! To effectively connect God’s people in reaching every tribe, tongue, and nation with the gospel involves sharing the need for more laborers for the harvest, calling all believers to participate in the Great Commission, and publishing creative tools to share missions on a global scale. As the Vice President of Communications, Sheila is sharing stories and photos from around the world, capturing videos and testimonies of what God is doing in the nations, while sharing the mission and vision of Go To Nations.
